I am a game developer and founder of Godcomplex Games. I’ve been creating interactive experiences and gameplay systems with Unreal Engine 5 for several years as of now. During this time, I’ve worked on experimental game projects, focusing on gameplay mechanics, replayability, and player engagement.
Vacunauts is a chaotic co-op action game with up to four players, where adorable animals in space suits team up to fight endless waves of robots. Along the way, you’ll vacuum up little slimes, combine their elements, and turn them into powerful abilities to blast your way through the chaos.
Forlorn is a single-player horror adventure where you explore a dark, unfamiliar world just beneath our own. Following the trail of a vanished explorer, you descend deep underground, uncovering traces of another dimension that feels disturbingly close to reality. Along the way, you’ll navigate shadowy environments, avoid unknown threats, and piece together what happened to those who came before you — hoping you won’t share their fate.
Help little Enoki bounce and wobble (and fall, lots of falling) its way back to its home deep, deep down below the surface. On its way try to collect as many crystal shrooms as possible, either as keepsake for your friends back home … or just for yourself.
Dark Hunt is a tense single-player horror puzzle game where you wake up alone in a mysterious cabin in the woods and must navigate your way to freedom. As you explore the eerie environment, solve cryptic puzzles, search for hidden keys, and uncover the path out, the atmosphere keeps you on edge with every shadow and sound.
Throughout our journey with Godcomplex Games, we have been fortunate to receive support from several prominent programs within the German games industry. These honours reflect not only confidence in our projects but also valuable strategic support that has helped us grow our skills, expand our network, and push forward with ambitious game development.
We were accepted into the Games Lift Incubator, a dedicated programme by Gamecity Hamburg that supports indie developers with financing, mentoring, workshops, and industry networking. This annual incubator helps teams take their game projects to the next level with structured guidance from international experts and access to a strong creative community.
Our studio received backing through the Prototypenförderung from Gamecity Hamburg. This local funding initiative provides non‑repayable financial support to help game developers create playable prototypes, strengthening our ability to prototype and test new interactive ideas.
We were selected for the Press Start Gründungsstipendium Games, a national grant supporting new game studios in Germany. This programme offers financial support, coaching, and networking opportunities for founders building games as a cultural and creative business.
Godcomplex Games is an independent game studio founded by four co-founders, dedicated to creating unique and engaging games. So far, the studio has developed some smaller prototypeiong games and is working on an action party game called “Vacunauts” right now. We already showcased our Games on some offline Events like the Gamescom or Polaris.
As one of the co-founders, I lead gameplay and systems development, prototyping, testing, and implementing interactive systems in Unreal Engine 5. I also handle VFX, some technical art, and support the team with technical guidance on gameplay systems. Beyond development, I manage finance and business operations for the studio.
At Godcomplex Games, we focus on combining creative storytelling, innovative mechanics, and polished player experiences. Our projects aim to be fun, challenging, and memorable, while exploring new gameplay ideas and interactive systems in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
As a student assistant at the GamesLab at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, I supported the lab’s daily operations and served as a key point of contact for students and staff. My responsibilities included managing inventory and licenses, handling equipment checkouts, and overseeing the maintenance and repair of PCs and other lab hardware.
I also provided technical support and guidance to students, assisting with software, hardware, and project setups, and ensured that issues were either resolved directly or forwarded to the appropriate staff. This role allowed me to develop strong organizational, problem-solving, and technical skills, while supporting a collaborative environment for game development and interactive media projects.
For my master’s degree, I studied Games (M.A.) at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg), a project‑oriented programme that prepares students for diverse roles within the games industry. The curriculum blends creative design, technical development, and research, and emphasises working on real‑world game projects from concept to a playable prototype. I collaborated with other developers and designers in interdisciplinary teams to create game prototypes, exploring areas such as game design, storytelling, level design, concept art, animation, and interactive systems.
The programme also offers technical focus areas such as game engines, artificial intelligence, graphics programming, and software development, as well as complementary topics like entrepreneurship, project management, and team organisation. Courses and projects are deeply connected with industry partners and the active indie scene in Hamburg, allowing students to build practical skills and professional networks in game creation, research, and studio leadership.
During my Bachelor of Science in Media Informatics at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg),
I gained a broad foundation in software development, interactive media, and digital technologies. The program combined technical skills with creative design, covering areas such as game development, app and web development, video editing, and lighting techniques.
I worked on interdisciplinary projects, designing user interfaces, interactive applications, and multimedia systems, often in collaborative team environments. This experience allowed me to develop both technical problem-solving skills and creative project execution, preparing me for advanced studies and professional work in interactive media and game development.
